The one-of-a-kind project gave our Engineering Team and Artisans numerous unique challenges. This ship is now an integral feature at the nonprofit children’s museum in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork was tasked with taking the Architects vision of building the hull of a ship and encapsulating the steel structure supporting an engine room and deck that would create an interactive exhibit at the Port Discovery Children’s Museum. This dream project was designed by Cambridge Seven Associates.
